Lobster Lady
1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W, Cape Coral
Great fish restaurant also selling fresh fish.
Mucky Duck (Captiva Island)
11546 Andy Rosse Lane, Captiva Island
This restaurant is also a dream at sunset. Parking is available. Right on Captiva Beach. It's easy to combine with a visit to the beach. It has a lovely outdoor area with a bar and light snacks. The recommended dish inside, of course, is duck. Reserving a table before sunset is advisable.
Miceli's Restaurant
3930 Pine Island Rd, Matlacha (toward Pine Island)
The small town of Matlacha lies on a small island between Cape Coral and Pine Island.
Small, colorful houses like those in the Caribbean line the street.
Nice restaurant right on the water with live music.
Often very crowded, but it's very pleasant to wait, perhaps with a drink, on the chairs by the water until a table becomes free.
Bert's Bar (unfortunately destroyed by Hurricane IAN)
4271 Pine Island Rd, Matlacha
The small town of Matlacha lies on a small island between Cape Coral and Pine Island.
Small, colorful houses like those in the Caribbean line the street.
At the end of the village on the left is Bert's Bar. Unassuming from the outside, it has a beautiful terrace built into the water. Here, you can sit and unwind with live music, a cold beer, and delicious food.
Doc Ford's
708 Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Myers Beach
On the way to Fort Myers Beach, just before the bridge, keep right and park under the bridge or directly in the parking lot of Doc Ford's (valet parking).
Beautiful large terrace right on the water.
Yucatan shrimps and mussels are great here!!
Bonita Bills
702 Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Myers Beach
Quaint local pub located right on the water. The chicken wings are highly recommended. More of a daytime option. Easily accessible by boat. Super friendly people, live music, and there's often even dancing. We've always experienced a good atmosphere here.
Like Doc Ford's, located below the bridge to Fort Myers Beach.
Dixie Fish & Co.
714 Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Myers Beach
Also like Bonita and Doc Ford's under the bridge to Fort Myers Beach.
Very rustic fish restaurant with a beautiful view of the water.
Here you can also find great Yucatan shrimp and very good mussels.
South Beach Bar and Grille
A trip to Gasparilla Island is worthwhile (see also Sights).
A beautiful restaurant right on the beach at the end of the island in Boca Grande.
You can eat on the terrace and drink delicious cocktails on the beach.
A dream at sunset. (760 Gulf Blvd, Boca Grande)
