Shops

Cape Coral and Fort Myers are a shopping paradise for German vacationers. Large outlet stores with well-known companies and low prices are waiting for you.

Publix

Publix is the classic supermarket with fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, drinks and everything you need to eat. There are five stores in Cape Coral. The Publix closest to you is on the corner of Cape Coral Pkwy and Chiquita Blvd. (approx. 4 km away). This Publix specializes particularly in the German audience. Here you will find, among other things, Gouda cheese, salami and rolls (which are similar to our rolls !!)

Opening times: Daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Walmart

The somewhat inexpensive alternative to Publix is Walmart. The giant store on 1619 Del Prado Blvd. is open around the clock and every day except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

In addition to food of all kinds, there is almost everything here: household goods, leisure items, clothing, garden centers, hardware stores, toys, decorative items, electrical and electronic equipment.

Liquor Store

Wine, champagne and beer can be bought in the Publix and Walmart supermarkets. High percentages, i.e. rum, gin, liqueur, are only available in special shops with the necessary license. Alcohol and cigarettes are only allowed in the USA from the age of 21. Don't be surprised if you are asked for ID. The closest store is next to Publix on Barbara Blvd.

Walgreen

These markets are comparable to our drugstores such as DM or Rossmann. Here you will also find over-the-counter medicines and prescription medicines in the extra area.

Shopping malls

Edison Mall

Nice and large shopping center with 5 department stores and 135 shops and restaurants. Is very recommendable and also suitable in bad weather, as it is completely covered.

Waterside Shops in Naples

This shopping center is very worthwhile. Although only very exclusive designer shops can be found here, it is only worth taking a walk here. Wonderful decorations (especially at Christmas time) are worth seeing. But the wonderful restaurants also invite you to linger.

You need about 1 hour by car from Cape Coral and can wonderfully combine the excursion with the city of Naples.
The Waterside Shops are located on US 41.
5415 Tamiami Trail N, Naples

flea market

The "Fleamaster's Fleamarket" in Fort Myers invites you to browse. Open Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A huge area and definitely worth seeing.
